The Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Alpha Gamma Omega and Rho Mu Omega Chapters Youth Leadership Institutes (YLI) and GenNEXT, in collaboration with Pro Tem Mayor Katrina Manning (City of Hawthorne, CA), are seeking donations of new books for young children and teens displaced by recent wildfires in California. We ask for your support for the purchase of these books through Octavia’s Bookshelf. The books will be delivered to the Mayor’s Office for distribution to schools and youth organizations.
